Hire Car Options

Our car hire allows you to pre-pay for compulsory items such as insurance over the internet prior to your arrival in Florida and other US locations. This means there are no extras to pay when you pick up the car! If you are a US or Canadian citizen, the options are slightly different - see here for more details.

We offer three fully inclusive packages:

Florida Hire Car Silver Basic Inclusive


  • 1 driver.
  • Rental with unlimited mileage.
  • Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) / Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - This covers damage to the car.
  • Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) up to $1M cover - This covers damage and injuries to 3rd Parties.
  • Uninsured / Under-insured Motorist Protection (UMP) - This covers the eventuality that an uninsured driver is involved in an incident with you.
  • All taxes and airport fees.
  • The tank will be full on collection. If you return empty you will be charged for the tank of fuel on return of the car. If you select Alamo or National, and return the car full then you will not be charged.
  • Save Time at the desk wth Alamo Kiosks (for bookings of 30 days or less).

Florida Hire Car Silver Inclusive


  • 1 or 2 drivers depending on the car hire company you choose (contact us for details).
  • Rental with unlimited mileage.

Florida Hire Car Gold Inclusive

  • Rental with unlimited mileage.
  • Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) / Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - This covers damage to the car.
  • Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) up to $1M cover - This covers damage and injuries to 3rd Parties.
  • Uninsured / Under-insured Motorist Protection (UMP) - This covers the eventuality that an uninsured driver is involved in an incident with you.
  • All taxes and airport fees.
  • Initial tank of gas included in price *. The tank will be full on collection and you return empty.
  • Save Time at the desk wth Alamo Kiosks (for bookings of 30 days or less).

All our car hire is fully inclusive - you have nothing to pay on arrival.

If, however, you have booked a fly-drive with a basic rental car as part of the deal, it is very likely there are substantial 'extras' you will have to pay on arrival.

The following are extras you are likely to have to pay on arrival if you do not purchase all inclusive car hire like we provide:

LDW Insurance $14-$20 per day SLI Insurance approx $10 per day State and local taxes 15-16% of total cost Airport user fee 4-10% of total cost Tank of fuel $15-$25 Additional driver fees approx $6 per driver per day.

This can have a substantial effect on the cost of your car hire, meaning you can be paying up to £300 to £500 extra on arrival for a 14 night stay! If you book our fully inclusive car hire most, if not all (depending on the car hire type you choose - Silver Basic Inclusive, Silver Inclusive or Gold Inclusive) of these additional expenses are automatically included and you will be required to pay nothing extra on arrival.
